About Bayside Services

Bayside Services was founded in 1979 and was purchased by Chris and Krissy Moe in 2006.

Chris was the sixth generation of his family born and raised in Whatcom County. Not a stranger to dirty and stinky, Chris grew up working in the family dairy farm and was mentored by his grandfather. He learned to "stay on the job until it's done." Chris trained as an Instrumentation Technician at Perry Institute and worked at an experimental nuclear reactor before working at a refinery for many years, climbing the ladder to a supervisory role, before retiring and purchasing Bayside Services. His commitment to having a great work ethic and hiring people that value serving people is what makes the difference.

Krissy was also born and raised in Whatcom County, helping her mom and dad run the family hardware stores in Sumas and Lynden, as well as managed the Lone Jack Saloon until it closed. She has worked mostly in the finance world for a wide range of companies, from an engineering firm focused on developing hydropower projects to assisting entrepreneurs in commercial leasing.
